Hitting the pause button on your busy life so you can sit at the feet of a guru on a mountaintop is a total luxury. Not to worry though, because there are quick and easy practices to ground you on the craziest of days. 

That being said, I did actually spend six weeks in the mountains of Northern Thailand at a Buddhist meditation retreat. A portion of my time there was spent in total silence + 15 hours of mediation each day as I learned the traditions of the Thai Forest Monks. I'm synthesizing and summarizing and will soon deliver to you a gorgeous course to help keep you mindful in our modern world.
